Can you play Call of Duty mobile with controllers?

Fortunately, it is very possible to play Call of Duty mobile with controllers.

Although, the controllers only work when you're in a battle Royale match or a Multiplayer match. 
You will have to personally use your phone through touch to navigate through the in-game menu and in-between menu scrolling sessions.

Moreover, using a controller would match you up with other controller users too, in order to make the game fair.

What are the controllers Call of Duty supports on mobile or iOS

Obviously, Call of Duty mobile doesn't support just any type of controller.

Call of Duty controller support was first removed when the game come out in 2019 and was then added some months after in an update after lots of complaints


There are only 2 supported Controllers by Call of Duty mobile which are 

1. PlayStation controllers
For example PlayStation 4 controllers (except the first generation) and PlayStation 5 controllers. 

2. Xbox controllers
or example Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Series S controllers. 


Note
Nintendo Switch: This is claimed to be used by some iPhone users. 

Other Bluetooth controllers might work with COD Mobile, though they are not supported officially. 
Some functions may not work , so let that be in mind before spending money on other third-party controllers.

How to play Call of Duty mobile with a controller. 
In order Call of Duty Mobile with a PS5 or Xbox One controller. 

 Connect them through Bluetooth to your Android or iOS device. This process takes only a few seconds. 

Steps to connect your controller to your android device are

  • Open your Settings app
  • Tap on Connected devices.
  • Tap Pair new device.
  • Hold the PS and Share button down together until the controller starts to flash light, or press and hold the connect button on your Xbox One controller.
  • Select your controller from the list of devices and tap to pair.
  • The controller will automatically be detected inside the game. 


Steps to connect your controller to you  iOS device are

Take note that your iPhone or iPad needs to be at least on iOS 13 to work. 
  • Open your Settings app.
  • Select Bluetooth.
  • Hold the PS and Share button down until the controller starts to flash, or hold the connect button on yout Xbox One controller. your controller from the list of devices and tap to pair. 
The controller will automatically be detected inside the game.

Will I get banned if I use a 
controller? 


Although some mobile games like PUBG ban the use of controllers. 


Does Call of Duty have controller support? 
Yes! 
It is safe to use a controller in Call of Duty mobile as you won't get banned.
